Unit Summary
This unit is designed for an 11th grade US History course, and it focuses on America's Post-War Boom following World War II. Population growth, new settlement patterns, and immigration from other countries all contributed to changes in America. With that, new technology played a pivotal role in the transformation of employment throughout the country. Popular culture was also revolutionized and dispersed in new ways with America's changing demographics throughout the 20th Century. Studying these different factors that emerged following World War II helps give insight into the nature of American culture today.
